With 2019 Summer Davos Annual Meeting of New Champions being held in Dalian, Dalian High-tech Zone actively broadens investment promotion channels and actively participated in a series of events such as “Summer Davos Welcome Banquet”, “Dalian Night” Cultural Dinner, etc. Dalian High-tech Zone carried out a series of investment promotion activities including business conference, project negotiations, and key enterprise account panels, which greatly enhanced communication with global leading companies and innovative enterprises, organized and expanded many high-quality project resources, and achieved remarkable results.
Before the preparation of the Summer Davos Annual Meeting even begins in the summer of 2019, Dalian High-tech Zone has actively engaged with the guests, and has contacted more than 2,000 enterprises and scientific research institutions to promote the industrial environment, talent pool and policy advantages of Dalian High-tech Zone, and successfully engaged in several projects including SAP Innovation Fund and Innovation Empowerment Center project, Fullerton Health Clinic, Kale Automation R & D Center, ACLEDA Bank Software System Development, SUNFOX Wearables and Cloud Diagnostics Center and other project resources .
Mr. Zeng Bo, member of the Standing Committee of Dalian Municipal Party Committee and chief director of Dalian High-tech Zone and Dalian BEST City, and Mr. Charles Yuan, Deputy Director of Dalian High-tech Zone attended “2019 Dalian Summer Davos Key Projects Signing Ceremony”, which was held in Bangchui Island on July 2nd. Dalian High-tech Zone Inspur Smart Center project was successfully signed at the event, on behalf of Dalian High-tech Zone, Charles Yuan signed the cooperation agreement.
During the event, the leaders of Dalian High-tech zone accompanied Mr. Tan Chengxu, mayor of Dalian city, and Mr. Jin Guowei, vice mayor to meet with Mr. Visal Leng Johnson Control global vice president and president of the Asia-Pacific region, and Mr. Ram Jambunathan, SAP global senior vice president, Mr. He Enting, President of Sanofi Group China, and Mr. Girard Nair, Head of Global Iot and CTO of Wipro, and Delegation of International Semiconductor Industry Association.

On July 2nd, Dalian High-tech Zone successfully held a key enterprise panel at Dalian Conrad Hotel. More than 70 senior executives from 29 companies and 14 countries attended the event. The participating companies includes Ericsson, Cisco, HPE, Amazon, SAP, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Cognizant, HCL, Fullerton Health, HSBC, Bank J.Safra, Jingdong, Binhai Financial Control, Genomics, Cybercube, IHS, Quanyi Software, Watergen, Suade and other global leading companies and innovative companies. The panel strengthened the relationship between Dalian High-tech Zone and enterprises and expanded new channels for investment attraction.
